Wondercade was born from a lifelong childhood dream. Two guys who spent their youth feeding lunch money into Pac-Man and sticking their chewy under pinball machines (for later) grew up, teamed up, and set out with one goal — to recreate that childhood magic for everyone else to enjoy.
We have spent the last 7 years sourcing, fixing, and meticulously restoring Wondercade's collection of retro arcade and pinball machines. The collection includes many original games that you can't play on location anywhere else in Sydney (and in some cases Australia). Think of it as a playable history lesson featuring some of the greatest arcade games ever created.
Now, it's your turn to step back in time. Wondercade is your chance to experience over 40 original arcade and pinball machines, all lovingly maintained and ready to play in a relaxed, welcoming barcade space right in the heart of Sydney's Inner West.
And because chasing high scores is thirsty work, we've got you covered. We'll keep you fuelled with a stellar lineup of craft beers from local Sydney breweries — including our main champions, Willie the Boatman, the legends who helped us get this whole crazy project off the ground. Not into beer? No worries. We're also fully stocked with local wines, refreshing spritzes, cocktail mixers, and plenty of soft drinks for the designated drivers and younger gamers.
